Hiatus.

A wise man once said “Never half ass two things. Whole ass one thing.”

I’ve spent the last two years stretching myself into more shapes than I ever thought possible: Bookstagrammer, Book Blogger, Twitter noob, contributor for online publications, hopeful author, and probably some others I can’t think of. And really, those are just the things I do after I can step away from my “real” life. And while I have loved doing all these things, I have to start reigning myself in a bit because I am tired.

I will be putting this blog on hiatus for at least the next six months while I work on a new project (I KNOW!). My reviews going forward will be found on the following websites:

I have enjoyed every moment on this blog and meeting so many talented bookish people. I can never fully repay the kindness this community has shown me, but I hope you all know that I have appreciated every view, like, comment, and friendship. Book bloggers often get underappreciated and I want you all to know that I see you and I love what you are doing.

And though I may be going on hiatus from this blog, I am not going on hiatus from reading. With the world the way it is right now, we all need something that makes us happy. Books have always been that thing for me. And they always will be.

Hi there! I'm Kibby, a 30ish year old book devourer, living in Northern California! When not reading I am writing about demon hunters, rewatching Great British Bake Off and Doctor Who too much, and lamenting over the lack of appreciation for Rogue One. I am also a #bookstagrammer under the IG handle of somethingofthebook.
