Hello bookish people and welcome to FRIDAY FAVORITES!
First, some quick background: I started book blogging back in May 2018 and eventually stumbled upon Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. I love participating in the weekly posts (seriously, go check it out here! I love the themes she comes up with) but find myself thinking of other list topics that I really want to do. So, I made a list of topics for myself (because lists are life!) and then decided to share it with anyone who wanted to join in!
How to Participate: Below is the list of topics for the first six months. Each Friday, post your list of favorites, per the topic, to your blog (or #bookstagram). I’d love if you linked back to this post, so people could find the topic list if they are interested, but this is all for fun so really, I just want you to enjoy creating your favorites list. You can have one favorite or 13 favorites or however many favorites you feel like on your lists! Also, you can do your most favorite or least favorite for the topics!
Update: Okay, so my original intention was to set up a link plugin thingy so everyone who participates could add the link to their post on my weekly Friday Favorites posts. However, I found out that I cannot do plugins without a business plan on WordPress and that’s just not going to happen right now. So, for the time being, here is my work around: put the link to your Friday Favorites blog post or #bookstagram post in a comment on my weekly Friday Favorites post. I will manually create a list within my post. I will update the list for the first 48 hours of my post. Even if you comment after the 48 hours, your link will be there for people to see in the comments. I will be working on a better way to do this, but I’m a total noob when it come to website design and html and all that. If you have any insight, I would love to talk to you about it!
