How do you forgive a person who has hurt your deeply? Why forgive someone who does not deserve to be forgiven? Forgiveness is not easy, and often we discover that the person who needs to be forgiven the most is ourselves. As we forgive others and ourselves, we find that we are the ones who have benefited--forgiveness brings a peace to our lives that no one can take away from us. Learning to Forgive: A Memoir of Doubt and Faith is the author's personal journey of forgiveness from a spiritual and psychological point of view. The book shows the reader how they can use their relationship with God, the resources of the Christian faith, and their psychological understanding of themselves to learn how to forgive. As readers see that pastors are not immune to the challenges of everyday life, nor are they spared from abusive backgrounds, they will be encouraged to embark on their own journeys of forgiveness or receive strength and hope for a journey already started.

Sometimes, we experience things that are so painful that we feel that there is nowhere to turn. Sometimes, we lose our focus and get caught up in circumstances beyond our control. Sometimes, our ideals take a back seat to the choices we make. "Learning to Forgive" is the result of a poetic journey I took over the last two years. In finding the words, I also found myself, and came to terms with loss, pain, and ultimately, I found the confidence in who I am as a child of God. This book is my tribute to God as thanks and praise for seeing me through that time period. Even though I didn't deserve His love, He never failed to show it to me. Poetry is one of the most unique forms of expressive art, and I am honored to be able to contribute "Learning to Forgive" as my humble addition to this genre. There is something for every one in the pages of this book, as long as you look deep enough and keep your spirit open. It is my hope that I have utilized my talent and portrayed what I feel God has put on my heart to say. Jennifer Ruggiero Morrison has been writing and drawing since before she can remember, and as a result, graduated from LIU Southampton with a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design. The issue of predominance between the written word and sketched picture has always been unresolved, but she uses both talents to glorify the Lord. Jennifer Ruggiero was happily married to Kevin Morrison in June of 2008. She has a son David who is 13, and is expecting her second son, Kyle, any day now.

In the second book by Sherry Woodcock, she provides the reader with simple yet insightful ideas about how forgiving is more for the forgiver than the person being forgiven. She illustrates how letting go of erroneous beliefs and negative feelings enables us to live a more free and fulfilling life. Daily Spiritual Tools, Learning How to Forgive and let Go provides the reader with simple yet insightful ideas about how forgiving is more for the forgiver than the person being forgiven. This second book by Sherry Woodcock, Learning How to Forgive and Let Go, is a shorter, more specific look at how simple spiritual tools can allow you to have more positive relationships and view circumstances, seen otherwise as negative, in a more positive light. Sherry explains that, “By forgiving and letting go of all the negative beliefs and feelings, we can imagine perfection unfolding and it is done. We can feel free and content.” Only published as an ebook, Learning How to Forgive and Let Go gives the reader a glimpse into the larger “tool box” that is provided in her first book, Daily Spiritual Tools, and her blog of the same name.
